Claire (aka Maggie) is doing great. She has become an instant member of our home and a great hit with our 19- month old daughter.

I would also like to tell you that she is one of the prettiest dogs I have ever seen. As far as her training is going, we are progressing very quickly. She is a much faster learner than my GSP and we have a great foundation set up for this coming season.

She has complete control of here, whoa and heel. She is retrieving to hand and has had some "fun time" with wild birds. Her nose is unbelievable and her points are very classy.

SHIPPING

We are always pleased to choose a dog of your specifications for you, and will ship via air to any major airport (weather, age, and airlines permitting). Puppies are usually shipped at about eight weeks of age following a complete health check by a veterinarian. Shipping charges are airline-specific, and are usually based on size and weight. Those charge, along with the cost of the shipping crate and health certificate, are payable in addition to the purchase price of the dog. We love to have visitors, however, and encourage you to come and see our kennels for yourself, whether in consideration for stud service, or when considering the purchase of a puppy or a started dog from Covey Run Kennels.

DIRECTIONS TO COVEY RUN KENNELS

Proceed towards Moscow, Idaho on ID State Highway 95. (South from Spokane, Washington, or North from Boise, Idaho). From the North, Covey run Kennels is located on the outside edge of Moscow, on the left hand side of the road, shortly before the "Welcome to Moscow" sign. The address is 1500 Highway 95 North 1500 North Main St. From the south, follow Highway 95 all the way through Moscow. As you are leaving town, the kennels are located on the right-hand side of the road, just past Quail Run Estates. If you get lost, just give us a call!

*We require all our dogs to be hunted, trained, and to be tested in the German testing system through the NADKC and/or JGV-USA. These are the things we ask our Covey Run

                         DK puppy buyers to commit to:

1. Love your dog and treat him/her as a member of your family

2. Join the NADKC and/or JGV-USA and follow all its testing,

breeding, and membership regulations

3. Intend to train the dog yourself for obedience and hunting

(with the help and advice of others)

4. Raise the dog in your home. (There is no comparison

between a kennel dog and a dog that is raised as part of a family)

5. Be a responsible owner--have a proper kennel to be used for

when the dog is unattended, a crate to be used when

 the dog is being transported, and provide quality food, shelter,

& medical care for your dog

6. Be willing to expose the pup to live game, to properly train

him/her, to hunt with him/her, and to take the pup to, and handle him/her

at the required tests
