We chose Chance KS vom
Riverwoods as the stud of the
"C" litter vom Covey
Run, which was whelped in May of 2005.
We liked the pups from that litter so
well, that we also chose him as the stud
of our
"D"
litter vom Covey Run,
which will be a repeat of our "C"
litter. That litter will be bred in
Summer of 2006, for a Fall, 2006 whelp
date.
Chance is a 5 year old male bred by vom Riverwoods Kennel, and owned by
Steve Kosmicki of vom Keljer Kennels. He has already completed his
mandatory breed-certification testing,
as well as some optional tests. He has
received Prize I's in all of his tests,
including several of the master-level utility
tests. Additionally, Chance achieved the
coveted KS title in Germany in
October, 2004. I had the opportunity to handle
Chance in a zuchtschau (breed show) at
the NADKC annual meeting a few years ago, and I can personally affirm
that his temperament and conformation
are both excellent. He has a number of
ancestors in common with our Queen, and
his strengths, I believe, really
complement hers. I am very excited about
this breeding, and am very much looking
forward to seeing this litter of resulting puppies.
Covey Run plans to keep one this time. .
