Hi Nancy,
Greetings from San Francisco!
Coda turned 1 year old on 10/23/03 and I
wanted to send you updated pictures of
the boy. I can't believe he is already a
year old. He is doing well & still
growing like a weed.
I just can't say enough about how
pleased we are with his ability to
learn so quickly. He is such an
intelligent dog.
I have to tell you, everywhere we go
people stop to admire Coda. Folks
are always commenting on what a
beautiful dog he is, and it's
starting to go to his head. He knows
he is a 'looker'. We have even
caught him admiring himself a few
times in the mirror ; ). Of course
everyone thinks he is a black lab (
because of his coloring) and are
shocked (and almost in disbelief)
that he is a GSP. I am getting him a
T-shirt that says " Don't even think
of calling me a Lab"!
He graduated from Puppy Kindergarten
with honors and his advanced
training is going well. He's such a
great dog in personality, spirit,
muscle tone, coat, etc... We take
him to 'doggie day care' twice a
week so he can continue to be
socialized with other dogs. Everyone
at the facility loves Coda and he
ends up getting lots of attention,
which is good for us because he gets
extra training. He is the star of
the facility!
